About Withersworldwide

Withersworldwide has been acting for successful individuals, businesses and institutions for 125 years. We advise clients on their business, personal and philanthropic needs both at home and abroad. In this fast moving and increasingly regulated world the need for integrated and timely advice has never been more urgent.

We are recognised as the leading international law firm for successful people. With offices in Europe, Asia, the United States and the Caribbean we provide coverage across the world that other law firms focussed on the individual cannot. We have represented 70% of the Top-100 ‘Sunday Times Rich List’, as well as a significant number of people listed in the US (Forbes) and Asian (Hurun) Rich Lists.

The firm consists of three global legal Divisions: Business; Dispute Resolution and Private Client & Tax. Each Division is headed by a Divisional CEO and Divisional Operating Officer, working with the CEO of the global firm

The Role

The role will encompass the full range of corporate/M&A and real estate work. The successful candidate will be working together with senior members of the team, supporting the drafting of a wide range of documents relating to corporate and real estate transactions (including share and asset offer letters and purchase agreements, shareholders' agreements, joint ventures and related transaction documents).

The suitable candidate needs to be able to produce initial drafts of the above documents and provide assistance to senior members.

The candidate will also be required to provide support to senior colleagues in the assistance on day-to-day corporate, real estate and commercial matters.

Key skills and experience

  • Excellent academics (not less than 105/110)
  • Experience working in the corporate department of an international law firm is a plus
  • Fluent Italian and English communication skills are mandatory (English proficiency equal to a C1 is a must)
  • Experience abroad for academic or professional purposes is an asset
  • Enthusiastic and engaged attitude with excellent people skills and a good, clear communication style
  • Teamwork is vital and you will often work alongside with colleagues in our overseas offices
  • Strong IT skills (e.g. Word & Excel)

Please do not submit your application should you not meet the above essential requirements.

The Essentials

  • This role is for a minimum period of 6 months with a possibility to extend.
