What are we looking for?

We are looking for a talented Marketing Coordinator to join our regional marketing team based in Singapore. We are amongst the largest international law firms in Singapore, with over 25 partners and 80 lawyers. As an experienced business development professional, you will be working closely with our Marketing and Business Development Managers (MBDMs) to support the three main legal teams (business, private client & tax and dispute resolution) to execute business development and marketing strategies. In Asia, we have ten marketing professionals based in our Singapore, Hong Kong and Tokyo offices. As part of a highly collaborative regional marketing team, you will also be supporting regional marketing initiatives. 

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent proposal writing, project management skills, and professional business writing skills. Skills and attributes

  • At least 1 year of marketing or business development experience in the professional or financial services sector preferred (legal or accounting sector experience is a bonus)
  • Highly proficient in using MS Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communications, interpersonal, presentation and relationship building skills
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram)
  • Proficiency in English is a must. Proficiency in Mandarin or Japanese is a bonus but not essential
  • Experience/ familiarity with CRM systems like InterAction is a bonus but not essential
  • Positive attitude, proactive, and keen to learn
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and functions
  • High level of logistical and strategic planning skills

 

Areas of focus and responsibilities

Business Development and Marketing

  • Support the MBDMs in producing materials for business development (including brochures, pitches, capability statements, client presentations) in accordance with brand guidelines
  • Organise and execute marketing events such as webinars/seminars, conferences, etc
  • Assist with drafting, editing and submitting directory and awards submissions
  • Assist with new joiners onboarding process
  • Coordinating with internal and external agencies and suppliers
  • Update and maintain the deals list, pitch tracker and partner CVs across Asia
  • Conduct background research on key industries and potential clients

Digital Marketing

  • Assist MBDMs with the development and management of e-marketing campaigns such as client alerts, publications and invites, including building client distribution lists
  • Upload content, maintain and monitor social media platforms and our website
  • Measure and report on digital marketing
  • Develop digital marketing materials
  • As you develop in your role, coordinate and manage the production of marketing videos and podcasts

Our marketing and business development team in Asia comprises ten marketing and business development professionals, forming a dynamic and high-performing team. Working across our offices in Singapore, Hong Kong and Japan, we connect regularly in formal and social settings, creating a collaborative, inclusive and supportive environment where every team member can grow and thrive. We also work very regularly with the global marketing and business development teams in Europe and the US to roll out global marketing initiatives to support the firm's goals.
