What are we looking for?

We are looking to recruit an experienced paralegal to join the Withers Hong Kong's Dispute Resolution (Family) team. The role will at times be fast paced so you will need to be an efficient worker who can prioritise task and have great organisational skills.  

The ideal candidate will be technically capable, have a good working attitude and possess excellent communication skills.  Proficiency in Chinese writing is preferred. This position requires someone who is comfortable using their initiative, is a strong team player and is motivated to produce quality support to the Division.

 

Areas of focus and responsibilities

  • Preparing and drafting pleadings, affidavits, documents and correspondences  
  • Performing legal research
  • Compiling bundles for court hearings
  • Simple translation tasks

Technical skills and qualifications

  • Candidates with prior experience in a law firm will be preferred
  • Able to comply with deadlines and meticulous
  • Good Command of English and Chinese will be an advantage
  • Proficient in PC skills (e.g. Word, Excel & etc.) and Chinese Word Processing
