Who are we looking for?

We are looking to hire an Associate to join the Withers Hong Kong Litigation & Arbitration team. The ideal candidate will have worked in a Litigation & Arbitration team and have experience with commercial litigation, international arbitration and regulatory investigation. The role will at times be demanding and fast paced so you will need to be an efficient worker who can prioritise, multi-task and remain calm under pressure. 

 

Areas of focus and responsibilities

The role is focused on advising and assisting an exceptional client base of private and public companies, entrepreneurs and their families and family offices, in commercial litigation, international arbitration and regulatory investigation. 

Given our multi-disciplinary approach in providing our clients with solutions, you will also get to collaborate with colleagues with an exceptional wealth of experience both in the Hong Kong office and other offices, and other practice groups.

Key skills and experience

  • 4 -6 years PQE with experience in litigation/arbitration/regulatory investigation 
  • Hong Kong qualified 
  • Strategic thinker with commercial awareness.
  • Meticulous attention to detail 
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and using own initiative, manage own workload and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Analytical, organised and can demonstrate initiative 
  • Adaptable to new systems, procedures and requirements of role.
  • Flexible approach: Willing to assist others in achieving team objectives. 
  • Ability to work well under pressure. 
  • Confident and proactive approach. 
  • Enthusiastic and positive attitude.
  • Good command of English, Mandarin and Cantonese
