What are we looking for?

We are seeking a SharePoint Administrator to support the design, development, and deployment of a SharePoint-based software catalogue for a global law firm. This critical project aims to centralize and streamline access to software tools across the firm’s international offices. 

The ideal candidate will have a strong SharePoint Online administration and page design background and a keen eye for usability, structure, and governance. You will work closely with the IT and marketing teams to deliver a polished, user-friendly solution. 

Areas of focus and responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain SharePoint Online pages to host a centralized software catalogue.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional SharePoint solutions.
  • Implement metadata, tagging, and search optimization to ensure intuitive navigation and discoverability.
  • Ensure compliance with internal governance, security, and data protection policies.
  • Provide documentation and training materials for end users and administrators.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint-related issues during the project lifecycle. 

Skills and attributes

  • Proven experience as a SharePoint Administrator or SharePoint Site Owner
  • Strong expertise in SharePoint Online, including modern site design, web parts, lists, libraries, and permissions management.
  • Demonstrated experience building custom SharePoint pages for cataloguing or knowledge management purposes.
  • Familiarity with Power Automate, Power Apps, and Microsoft 365 integration.
  • Understanding of information architecture, UX principles, and content governance.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience working in a legal or professional services environment is highly desirable. 

The essentials

  • 9.30 am to 5.30pm but flexibility is a must as this role will involve working alongside teams to meet deadlines, running and attending alumni events and supporting the firm in developing relationships.

Preferred Qualifications
