The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Intern to join our Milan office within a leading international law firm. This part-time internship (50%) offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional legal environment, supporting the firm's technology infrastructure and user base.

Start date: October 2025.

Areas of focus and responsibilities
Provide first-level technical support to staff, resolving issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.

  • Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of workstations, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Mobile phone (iPhone) support and administration
  • Support the deployment and troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office 365 applications.
  • Help maintain documentation for IT procedures, including onboarding, password resets, and equipment handling.
  • Participate in IT induction sessions and contribute to knowledge base updates.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to monitor system performance and escalate issues as needed.
  • Assist in managing user accounts, access permissions, and basic network configurations.

Requirements:

  • Enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant IT or technical program. (Eligibility to enter into an internship agreement is a mandatory prerequisite)
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Windows OS and Office 365 suite.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts (IP addressing, LAN/Wi-Fi, VPN).
  • Fluent in Italian and good command of English (spoken and written) to communicate effectively in an international environment. (B1-B2)

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools.
  • Exposure to SCCM, Intune, or similar deployment platforms.
  • Interest in legal technology and professional services environments.
