The department

This practice provides sophisticated tax and legal advice to the world’s most successful people, from aristocracy to first, second and third generation entrepreneurs, industrialists, senior executives, celebrities, artists, philanthropists and other prominent figures.  With more wealth planning lawyers worldwide the firm has one of the, if not the, largest and most comprehensive private client practices in the world. 

Our team is an integral part of our large wealth planning practice. Many of our US and UK tax lawyers are qualified in other parts of the world and can bring valuable cross-border experience and knowledge to complex scenarios for clients with multi-jurisdictional interests.  We help our clients plan to attain optimal tax results in all aspects of their lives. Our role often involves structuring their business affairs and family investments, investing in financial products, using trusts and other vehicles to structure investments, dealing with tax issues arising on divorce, and reducing taxes on death.

The role

The role is focused on the provision of tax advice to an exceptional client base of Ultra and High Net Worth Individuals, Entrepreneurs and their families, family offices, Trusts, Landed Estates, and includes Non-Domiciliaries and Non-Residents. The role will involve:

• Tax structuring of cross boarder investments
• Fund tax structuring
• Private client services
• Advising on international tax matters
• Assisting on client files
• Estate Planning

As well as providing coaching in key financial, business, consulting and legal skills. We will also give you all the support you need to gain valuable professional qualifications.

Key skills and experience

• 1-2 years PQE
• Singapore qualified
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Be able to work as part of a team and independently
• Good interpersonal skills
• Strong commercial awareness and financial aptitude

• Analytical, organised and able to exercise initiative
