What are we looking for?

We are looking for a professional and highly organised Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our busy Talent Acquisition team. The successful candidate will be a collaborative team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships and earning the confidence and trust of a wide range of stakeholders.

You will be able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, working efficiently and with attention to detail, even under pressure. We are looking for a proactive, reliable and approachable individual with a positive attitude.

Area of focus and responsibilities

Recruitment & Selection

  • Review and shortlist applications across fee earner, business services and graduate recruitment vacancies
  • Administer online assessments and support candidate progression throughout the recruitment process
  • Coordinate and attend (where appropriate) fee earner, business services, vacation scheme and training contract interviews
  • Conduct direct sourcing using LinkedIn and other recruitment channels 
  • Draft and update job descriptions and recruitment materials 
  • Draft and post job advertisements across the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other appropriate recruitment channels
  • Manage candidate offers, including preparing offer documentation and supporting the pre-employment screening and onboarding process
  • Work with recruitment agencies, including managing candidate submissions and maintaining supplier relationships
  • Act as a first point of contact for candidates, hiring managers and external suppliers
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, hiring managers and candidates throughout the recruitment process
  • Manage enquiries received through the recruitment mailbox

Graduate Recruitment

  • Support the organisation and delivery of the firm's vacation schemes, assessment centres and open days
  • Provide support across all aspects of graduate recruitment when required

Diversity & Inclusion

  • Support the delivery of the firm's Diversity & Inclusion and social mobility programmes, including PRIME and 10,000 Black Interns 

Reporting, Research & Projects

  • Produce ad hoc reports, analyse recruitment data and undertake market research 
  • Assist with recruitment projects and wider recruitment initiatives as required

General Administration

  • Maintain recruitment documents, records, trackers and databases
  • Ensure candidate and recruitment data is accurately maintained within the ATS
  • Process recruitment-related invoices and support budget tracking 
  • Provide general administrative support to ensure the smooth running of recruitment processes and programmes

Technical skills and experience

  • Previous experience in a similar Talent Acquisition, Recruitment or HR role, ideally within a professional services environment
  • Educated to degree level, or equivalent
  • Strong academic background
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant IT systems

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to build relationships

The Essentials

  • Working hours are 9.30am to 5.30pm but flexibility is a must
  • This role is a 6-month fixed-term contract
